What about my children?
Cry Room
Building a community associated with the idea that a cord of three strands is not easily broken. Ecclesiastes 4:12
A cry room is available during Worship should a need arise.
At 10:00am
Your child will enjoy active, fun activities Sunday morning in DiscipleTown. Each week the children (age preschool to 3rd grade) will begin in the main room for worship and praise and then after the morning announcements, they will be guided to their classroom by the DiscipleTown Leader. They will sing and worship using age appropriate songs and a special lesson that will apply God's Word in a large group setting.
Family Worship Services
At Hope Community we encourage families to worship the Lord together from time to time. We realize that this sets us apart from what many expect from a church, but we believe our approach will create long term benefits for parents and their children. The church is not called to imitate the culture, but rather to be set apart from it and to be an example to it; we are to be "a city set on a hill." In our culture today, there are many things that divide children from their parents. We do not want to be one of those things. Instead, we want to help children become more connected to their parents and their church. We believe that the family worshipping together is an important part of achieving this goal.
"Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother (which is the first commandment with a promise), that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth. And, fathers, do not provoke your children to anger; but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." Ephesians 6:1-4
At 11:15am
Following the morning service the children will be dismissed from DiscipleTown at 11am, this allows our Sunday school teachers the ability to transition from services, receive your child at 11:15, and for parents to provide a bathroom break for their children.
Feel free to join us in DiscipleTown or Sunday school anytime to speak to the teacher.
