Leidy Xiomara Mendez Juarez

Leidy is 12 years old and lives in Guatemala. Her mother is a housewife and father is a pastor.

 

In many countries, it is difficult for economically deprived Nazarene pastors to access and sustain quality education for their children. The Nazarene Pastors? Children Sponsorship Program assistas pastor's children with their primary and secondary education costs. It helps pay for tuition, school supplies uniforms, and sometimes food and transportation. The ultimate objective of the program is to equip children to be responsible and contributing members of thier families, churches, and communityes, embracing Christ's mandate to live a life of compassion.

Child Sponsorship is Hope!

We as a church send a monthly pledge of $25 or more by participating in the Child Sponsorship program. Hope Community is investing in a child’s life. By designating your gift as sponsored child you too can help provide for the well being of a child.

There are several ways to share what God is doing through compassionate ministries around the world:

  • Get involved in a compassionate ministry through your local congregation or in your neighborhood and invite others to join you. You can find all of the Compassionate Ministries Centers in the United States and Canada online.
  • Share about Nazarene Child Sponsorship with a friend, your family, or your congregation, and become an advocate for children living in poverty around the world. If you need immediate assistance, please contact us via email at child@nazarene.org or call us toll free at 866-247-9399.
