Leadership Structure

We have a board that is set up to deal with policy, procedure, mission, and vision comprised of 4 members who serve 2 year terms with two alternating on and off each year and the pastor as acting chair. This allows for continuity of message throughout the leadership.
Ministry Leaders focus on their ministry passions developing their own budget, that is approved by the board and are empowered to minister within the policies and guidelines established by the board. We are following the best practices published in "Simply Strategic Stuff - Help for Leades Drowing in the Details of Running a Church" by Tim Stevens and Tony Morgan.
Non members may perform ministry but they need a member to partner with them throughout the process. Our example is how Barnabas worked with Paul. The goal is to make our non-members, members through this process.
Our board meets monthly on the second Monday of each month. If you wish to address them with an item you must contact the Board secretary to get on the agenda the Sunday before the meeting.
Ministry Leaders and those exploring ministry options meet every other month on Saturdays from 10 am to 12 pm. This is an open meeting for anyone to attend.
Each ministry may opt to create a council or committe to help them minister to those within their target audience.
All leadership follow the ministry covenant which supports the overall mission and vision of the church of the Nazarene.
